Notes:  This sweater was HUGE!  Despite getting gauge, the ribbing expanded to make this sweater massive. A few minutes in the dryer helped shrink it a bit without totally felting it.

New Year’s Resolutions

in Category Fun Stuff, Life

Hope everyone had a safe and fun New Year's!  I haven't had a chance yet to post about my Christmas knitting (still trying to recover.  May need to seek treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome!) but thought I'd post my New Year's Resolutions today.

KnitWit's Top Ten New Year's Resolutions…

  1. Exercise everyday, even if it's just for 15 minutes.
  2. Take better care of myself.
  3. Control the knitting!  Try to keep it confined to the knitting room instead of allowing it to invade all other parts of the house!
  4. Learn to knit socks.
  5. Make time for reading (something other than knitting blogs and knitting books) every day.
  6. Join a knitting group.
  7. Redesign my Knit Addictions website.
  8. Start looking toward the future and stop dwelling on the past.
  9. Forgive myself for my past mistakes and move on.
  10. Start Christmas knitting for next year BEFORE November!!!

I'll refer back to this from time to time and see how I'm doing!

I'd love to hear what your resolutions are.  Drop me a line and let me know you're reading!
