Back from the dead?

Hi there!  This is B writing….

Been working on getting E’s blog back up and running so she can use it.  We moved to a new webhost and I finally got the latest version of WordPress running.  Also found this great knitting theme from David Cole.  The link to his site where you can download it is at the bottom.  Worked on getting a lot of the kinks out of the links, pages and general format.  I had used so many different plugins and “hacks” with the old versions of Wordpres that it was kind of a mess going to the new version.  Think I finally got it up and running though.  Hope E likes it…  And I hope you do too!

Question for you knitters.

Hey there!

The hubby here…

Got a question for you knit-o-pheliacs out there.

If I could make a decent quality yarn swift (thinking umbrella style) for a resonable price, would there be any interest in that?

I was also thinking about making sock blockers as well.  They would be a quarter inch thick and sanded smooth on all surfaces to prevent snagging.  Any takers?

Obviously, I would make these for the Knitwit herself first to be my guinea pig, but I was just curious if anyone else might be interested.  Once I make these for her, Knitwit will surely post about them.

this is a test

This is a test of the editor and picture uploading..

This is me a couple weekends ago and it should be a thumbnail image that you can click on to make bigger.

test

It didn’t work like I thought it should, but it does seem to work.  There is an insert picture button that brings up a script error every time, so I thought it was busted.  Found out that if you upload an image using the upload box below the editor, then you can insert the image into the editor.  It’s got a bunch of options to do it, but they are not intuitively obvious.  I guess you can even drag and drop images into the editor too.  So, it seems to be working, although not exactly as I would like.
It doesn’t see the pictures that were uploaded previously to the server.  I thought it would.

So we are back in business for the time being I think.  Knitwit might need a little training on how this works.  It isn’t too hard.  It might even be easier than how she did it before.

Keep knitting folks and I will try to keep this thing going for you.
